From Thursday the 7th of July until Sunday 10th of July the international squash youth is gathering in Amsterdam for the 34th edition of the Dutch Junior Open, the prestigious tournament for youth in the age of 8 to 19 years.
In advance of the opening day the official seeding and draw took place and revealed that first seeded in boys under 19 is the Dutch talent Rowan Damming. Damming played all European Championships and was awarded in all the events including the junior team event and recently won a PSA event in The Netherlands as well. All the (top) seedings can be found below.
On the opening day all 21 courts will be used at the ‘Frans Otten Stadium’ to give all 450 players a great experience. The first matches will start at 9 AM local time and kick-off with number two seeded in the girls under 11 Naomi Wiegenfeld (Israel) and the Dutch Sascha Steps.
All matches on centrecourt (court 21) will be streamed live on our platform via this link. Courts are allocated two rounds ahead to prevent all the players from excessive long playing days. More footage from the tournament is on the Instagram account of the Dutch Junior Open.
